For anyone who hasn’t tried long exposure photography I’d recommend you try it out. You do not really need a tripod, just a steady place to set up your camera. Waiting for the picture to process lets you appreciate the area you’re in and is very calming. I’d have to say this is one of my favorite types of photography. It forces you to be somewhat patient and whether the shot turns out as you had planned, you will almost always be happy with the result. Try it!
